PEFC Chile re-endorsed and expanded

The PEFC system in Chile, CERTFOR Chile Forest Certification Scheme, is re-endorsed and the standard is expanded to cover native forest as well as forest plantations.

Following a comprehensive and rigorous assessment by an independent consultant, PEFC has re-endorsed PEFC Chile.

PEFC International endorsed the Chilean plantation standard in 2004. The PEFC certified area in Chile has increased to almost two million hectares, making the CERTFOR the largest certification system in Chile.
