PEFC International chain-of-custody workshop in Tokyo, Japan, 7th July 2009

PEFC International invites to the third in a series of three workshops on chain-of-custody in Tokyo, Japan, Tuesday 7th July 2009. The objective of the workshops is to gather stakeholder input for the revision of the PEFC International chain-of-custody rules.

Chain-of-custody certification is an important element in forest certification as it establishes a verifiable link from certified forest to the final product. There have earlier been similar workshops in Germany and France.
